Controversies related to the NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) exam seem to keep growing. In a latest update a fake video alerting candidates about registration for phase 2 of the exam has been doing the rounds of social media. As per the video, the registrations for phase 2 of the exam have started on the official website https://neet.nta.nic.in.

Candidates are advised to completely dismiss any rumours / news related to phase 2 of the exam since no official announcement has been made by the NTA (National Testing Agency) or any other governing body in this regard. The NEET exam was not planned to be conducted in a phased fashion (like the JEE or CUET) and was conducted on 17th July 2022 (re-exams are being conducted for a very small set of students who faced issues / glitches on the day of the exam)

The NTA will be releasing the official answer key for the exam any time now. The results will be compiled after the release of the official answer key. Candidates can access and download the official answer key (once it is released) by following the below mentioned steps

How To Download The NEET Official Answer Key

  • Visit the official website
  • The link for the official answer key will be displayed on the homepage (in the Public Notices or the Candidate Activity Section)
  • Download the official answer key as per the question paper code for future reference (candidates can calculate their scores as per the key)
  • The NTA will provide a window of 2-3 days for candidates to raise objections (if any)

The NEET is a national level entrance exam for admission into MBBS and BDS courses in India. The exam was conducted by the NTA and had more than 18 lac applicants this year
