How to take it?

From the 6th day onward, it will be administered once and twice in the morning and evening. The reason for this is to reduce nausea and diarrhea associated with the first treatment. Then you will stay at this dose. Aprezo 30 mg tablet can be taken with or without food-one in the morning and one in the evening. Do not crush or chew the tablets. Be sure to take as directed by your doctor.
Clinical trials have shown that about 30% of patients have a 20% reduction in the number of painful and swollen joints after 4 months. It is a chronic drug that is used continuously as long as it is effective and well-tolerated.
What else should you know?
Are you thinking of giving birth to a baby? Limited information is available on the possible effects of Apremilast during pregnancy. Women who are pregnant or plan to become pregnant should not use this medicine. Men should not conceive women during treatment and for 3 months after discontinuing this drug. Men should use condoms throughout this time.
Keep track of your weight while you are taking this medicine, and tell your doctor about any major weight loss.
It is also unknown whether apremilast is excreted in breast milk. If you are nursing, use it with caution.
If you have kidney disease, contact your rheumatologist as the dose of apremilast should be adjusted for patients with severe renal dysfunction.
